The generator tool works with almost any image, but a few choices make the final board look much better.
Use tighter crops
Faces and close subjects usually read better than wide landscape shots. Small slots on the board can lose detail quickly.
Mix wide and close images
The board uses several different frame sizes. If every image has the same composition, some slots will feel awkwardly cropped.
Avoid low-contrast pictures
Very dark images or washed-out screenshots tend to disappear behind the board overlay. Brighter, higher-contrast photos survive export better.
Build for emotion, not precision
This format works because it feels personal and immediate. Perfect alignment matters less than using photos that clearly communicate the joke or the sentiment.
